The Details Behind the Window Seat Photos
I had a great idea on the way down to Orlando in 2007. Basically, I wanted to try posting photos and comments about our trip in REAL TIME. So I see it, I snap a photo of it on my iPhone, and I post it here thanks to some web magic I learned recently. There’s a tiny delay of a few minutes, give or take a few, but it’s pretty darn near instant.
Feel free to leave comments on what the photos and reports. If you ask questions, please give me some time to reply. Remember, if you see current photos here, that means I’m traveling right now and not at a computer except for a short while in the evenings. All of these reports are written “in the field” from my iPhone.
It’s so cool I can actually do this. Thanks for coming along with me in a “window seat!”

The only thing better than reading your trip reports and seeing your pictures would be to be there with you all! Thanks for taking the time to do this.
Thanks for the great photos. Even though I am here, your pics allow me to see some of the things I can’t make it to, or that I am in the middle of enjoying and not really “seeing”
Thanks Jennifer
This is brilliant! Thanks so much for taking the time to post!

Great Blog!
It was great reading/viewing your recap and remembering all the events of Mousefest! When you used your iPhone to post from the cruise, did you need to pay their WiFi internet costs? Or your provider’s cruise ship access fees? I tried to keep in touch with people on the cruise, but wound up frantically trying to accomplish everything in like 8 minutes/day because I was too cheap to buy more time.
Yes, I paid their WiFi Internet costs — we always buy the maximum package when we cruise because it’s essential that we check e-mail and our site at least daily.
